Freight only - Germany Volume 3a & 3b - The Rhein (Koeln to Basel), Saarland and Mosel
Only £39.00
This is the third in a five-volume series of books aimed at covering current railfreight operations in Germany. The first volume covered the north, including the busy railway centers of Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover and the second volume covered the dense freight network in the Ruhr from Osnabruck to Dusseldorf. Both are still available to buy from ST Publications. This third volume covers the entire length of the busy freight route along the Rhein River from Koeln in the north to Basel in the south plus all freight routes to the west of the Rhein, including those to Belgium (via Aachen), Luxembourg (via Trier) and France (via Kehl and Saarbruken), plus operations in the Saarland (Dillingen & Voelklingen). These books have 24hr guides for the busiest hotspots in Koeln, Mainz, Mannheim and Saarland; daytime guides for various spots along the Rhein and Mosel; arrival and departure times at all yards and terminals including the busy yards at Gremberg, Mannheim, Mainz Bischofsheim and Karlsruhe. Due to the amount of information contained in this volume, it has been split in to two books for publishing purposes, with book 3a covering the northern part of the Rhein to Mainz and Mosel and book 3b covering the southern half of the Rhein and Saarland. PLEASE NOTE: The two books in this volume can be bought separately if required, please see book reference 208 for volume 3a, and book reference 209 for volume 3b.To add another book to your basket/cart, click the continue shopping link on the PayPal checkout page.
